Enjoy the exceptional setting at the Royal Savoy Hôtel & Spa, Lausanne, while taking part in our pool classes.

 

 

 

 

The Clinique de La Source offers expectant mothers preparation for childbirth in the pool, in partnership with the Royal Savoy Hôtel & Spa in Lausanne.

One of our midwives trained in pool classes will welcome you to the Royal Savoy, give the class and answer your questions in an intimate, relaxed atmosphere.

For your comfort, we allow a maximum number of 5 mothers per class.

 

Our pool classes

Our courses* will help you to:

  • Gently strengthen your abdominal, back and perineal muscles
  • Work on opening up your hips
  • Provide relief for your back and joints thanks to the weightlessness provided by the water
  • Stretch and loosen your body
  • Work on your breathing
  • Relax in water heated to a soothing 31°C
  • Be in harmony with your baby

Class description:

  • Meet in the Hotel lobby (near the reception) at 8:45 a.m.
  • 45-minute pool class
  • Relax and enjoy a snack at the Spa
  • Leave the Royal Savoy at 11:00 a.m.

* Our antenatal classes are reserved for expectant mothers who have planned to give birth at the Source de Vie Maternity ward at the Clinique de La Source.

 

Key information

Registration after 14 weeks of pregnancy with the approval of your gynaecologist.

Courses start: from the beginning of the 26th week of pregnancy.

Meeting point: Hotel lobby (by the reception)

Price : CHF 350.- (CHF 150.- is covered by your basic health insurance). Parking is not included.
