Invoicing _

How it works
_

Hospital expenses covered by your insurance, personal expenses, upgrading? You’ll find all you need to know here.

Supplementary insurance with private or semi-private cover is required prior to being admitted to the Clinique de La Source.

Medical fees

Medical fees are invoiced directly by your doctor for all in-hospital treatment. The invoices will be sent to your home address for direct payment and should then be forwarded to your complementary insurance for reimbursement.

Hospital fees

They generally include the cost of the room and board, nursing care, use of the operating theatre, medicine, medical equipment and all other related expenses. The days of arrival and departure are each fully invoiced as per agreement with the insurance companies.

In case of hospitalisation, patients must hold supplementary insurance for semi-private and private room.

Upgrades

Should you hold semi-private insurance but wish to be in a private room, we will accommodate you depending on availability, for CHF 300.-- per night.

Personal expenses

Private expenses such as telephone calls, food and beverages consumed in your room or at La Véranda, fax or other, and laundry of personal clothing will be charged personally as they are not covered by your insurer.

Outpatient expenses

Basic insurance will cover outpatient treatment (including physiotherapy, radiology examinations, radiation oncology and laboratory analyses) provided during the day exclusively, as these rates are identical to those charged by public hospitals.

We remain at your entire disposal for any further information you may require on this subject.
