The Maternity Unit at Clinique de La Source now offers Solardo Laser consultations, an innovative low-level laser therapy designed to relieve pain and promote healing.

This therapy uses low-power laser radiation for therapeutic purposes. Through its biostimulatory effect, the non-thermal laser (which does not produce heat) naturally stimulates the healing process and helps relieve some of the common discomforts experienced after childbirth.

Already used during stays at the Maternity Unit, this treatment is now also available on an outpatient basis.

 


Solardo Laser consultations can help to:

  • relieve certain common types of pain after childbirth
  • promote gentle, non-invasive tissue healing
  • support recovery following a Caesarean section or vaginal delivery
  • improve comfort during breastfeeding in cases of nipple pain or lesions

 

Who is it for?

These consultations are available to all women experiencing pain or scarring related to the postpartum period, including:

  • sore or irritated nipples
  • cracked or damaged nipples
  • mastitis
  • Caesarean section scars
  • perineal scars
  • haemorrhoids

 

Consultations are also available for certain newborn care needs:

  • nappy rash
  • umbilical healing

 

These consultations are open to all patients, including women who did not give birth at Clinique de La Source.

Format: Consultations are provided by the Maternity Unit team.

Location: Maternity Unit, Clinique de La Source.

Duration: 30 minutes per session.

Prescription: No medical prescription is required.

Price: CHF 70 per session.

Reimbursement: This service is currently not reimbursed by health insurance.
