Anaesthesiology _

Doctors from the Anaesthesiology Unit provide anaesthetic care and support for patients requiring a scheduled or urgent surgery.

Before any intervention, in order to assess the state of health of patients in the pre-hospitalization phase and to validate the anaesthetic treatment, we ask the attending physician to send the patient's medical documents by email to the pre-anaesthesia consultation: prehosp@lasource.ch. 

On the decision of the anaesthetist, the patients can be called for an outpatient pre-anaesthetic consultation in order to assess his state of health, to provide information on the different types of anaesthesia and possibly to perform additional examinations.
