Being attentive to your needs during your hospitalisation is an integral part of patient care. This is the reason why the Clinique de La Source offers you various personalized services.
PSYCHOLOGICAL SUPPORT
As part of the personal care services offered by the Clinique de La Source, a team of psychologists has been set up to provide you with support and assistance during your stay in hospital, with a one-hour session that you can request as needed.
This session, initially recommended directly on the advice of your doctor or requested by you during your stay, requires a medical prescription to be issued by your doctor.
If any follow-up is required after your stay, you must arrange this separately with the concerned psychologist. The resulting fees will be charged to you or to your health insurance.
The team of psychologists takes part in group supervision sessions run by a specialist consultation-liaison psychiatrist.
SPIRITUAL ASSISTANCE
The Clinique de La Source, a secular institution, is committed to respecting our patients’ religious beliefs and convictions.
Consequently, during your stay at La Source, the services of a minister or pastor, nominated by their respective Churches, may be called upon. The latter regularly visit patients in hospital and provide support for their families.
To meet the needs of English-speaking patients, we are in contact with the Protestant Church of Scotland, from which a representative will visit the Clinic should a patient request it.
Upon request from a patient or his or her family from any other community, be it from the Jewish or Muslim faith, we can call a representative (please note that with regard to the Jewish faith, we cannot call the Rabbi on Saturdays or Jewish holidays).
To provide our patients and their families with a chance to collect their thoughts, a chapel is available on the premises of La Source, notably in the School building and is open daily from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m..
