Combining pleasure, health and personalisation …

The Nutrition Department at the Clinique de La Source does everything in its power to provide the best possible diet for patients during their stay, according to their illness. In order to do this, they work in close collaboration with the doctors, nurses, as well as the hospitality and catering staff.

Diet is a key part of medical treatment and the three qualified Nutrition Specialists at the Clinic provide the link between the doctor’s prescription and the patient’s options. These are often related to the social, cultural, psychological and physical context of the person in question.

The Nutrition Department at the Clinique de La Source offers the following services:

For hospitalised patients:

  • Nutrition supervision and adaptation according to the needs of all the patients in hospital
  • Diagnosis of malnutrition
  • Information and awareness development of the importance of diet and nutrition care according to different patients’ medical needs
  • Personalised training of the patient with regard to nutrition habits to be adopted when they return home.

The Nutrition specialist works with all patients requiring nutrition care, such as patients hospitalised in the oncology department, those requiring a big operation on the digestive system or people suffering from chronic metabolic diseases.
